Stay Home. Save Lives.

Hi everyone – we hope this finds you safe and well.

Rebellion is proud to be one of the first games developers to partner with the UK’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport to deliver crucial health messages through our games.

To help stop the spread of coronavirus, today we’re rolling out a first wave of updates to a selection of our titles, encouraging our players and community to “Stay Home. Save Lives.”

The messaging will appear in PlayStation 4 Live Areas, Xbox Club news feeds and in our own PC launchers for some of our most popular titles including Sniper Elite 4, Strange Brigade and Zombie Army 4: Dead War.

In addition, Rebellion’s renowned comics 2000AD and Roy of the Rovers have pledged to run adverts with the same health messaging featuring the iconic Judge Dredd, and Roy of the Rovers, the legendary British footballing comic hero, will be sharing the message online.

As Rebellion CEO and Co-founder Jason Kingsley OBE said on Monday when the scheme was announced, we’re delighted to be working with the DCMS in this important initiative and to help in any way we can.

“We know how fundamentally beneficial video games like Sniper Elite and Strange Brigade and comics like 2000 AD have been and will continue to be for many of us during this extraordinary time,” said Jason.

“It makes total sense for us to help promote important public health messaging while keeping those fans entertained in the safety of their homes.”

Here are examples of the customised banners and messaging we’ve created for our titles, including Sniper Elite 4, Evil Genius 2 and Zombie Army 4: Dead War, as well as imagery planned for 2000AD and Roy of the Rovers.
